This makes me very anxious; I may call them.
And as to how this drop has been sustained for a decade:
“Global supply chain issues”
55 murders in the country. More than that in a typical city neighborhood here.
This also works too well as a response to @Purplecat’s post.
Remember those socks?!
I had some. IIRC, they came in multiple colors with each pack, right?
I do! My dad had tons of them…
Oh my, yes. A must-have for any 1970s kid.
And dads…
Part of the “socks and sandals” look?
There were different packs, so you could get a ‘variety’ of colors (not all the colors of the rainbow, but, say, black + navy + red) or all with the same colored stripes.
I seem to remember they also came with a contrasting middle color sometimes.
Didn’t some of the NFL teams have corresponding colors, IIRC?
I can’t say I remember – not a sportsball person – but that sounds highly likely!
I remember…those socks with matching color tank top and shorts in the same color range. Mom was a mix-and-matcher, a la Garanimals.
Not my dad… Anytime he wore sandals, it was without socks.
A man ahead of his time!
He generally did not wear sandals, though. Work boots (either at the plant or military issue) or sneakers.
