ETA: It’s worth adding that in the article Alexandros is standing next to a board with beads hanging on it. This is from an organization called “Beads of Courage” and each bead represents an event in his treatment: blood draw, office visit, etc etc. Larger beads are for bigger things like surgery or chemo. You can see that in his short life the kid has been through some shit.
