The first sign of spring is scraping the turdus migratorius off the windshield.
“Patients dropped from 15,000 to 15.” (At least according to Reddit.)
I can’t even imagine their collective feeling of relief.
If for no other reason, I hope she’s awarded the prize since that would drive Trump frickin’ nuts.
Hopefully events like these will allow people to understand their day to day impact on the environment. A little like how a massive power outage let’s people see the Milky Way for the first time.
Doubtless though, this sense of wonder will be fleeting, and in time will be forgotten.
