Using a 9T magnet, custom coils and lots of computer processing, they got data at 5 micron resolution. (Current resolution is usually measured in millimeters.) Very cool!

Many years ago on a flight from L.A. to NYC, our area in the cabin was almost 100% filled with Japanese women. Upon landing at JFK, not a single one of them budged from their seats. They waited. The sight of that kept others in our section in their seats, but not after first making initial moves to grab from the overhead storage. Peer pressure sat them down.
