I wandered around his art field a few times when I took the back way from Tuscaloosa to the Gulf Coast, back in the early 2000s.

It’s a good reminder that folk artists are all over the rural parts of the south… sometimes, they became well-known (Howard Finster comes to mind) but mostly, they just do their art and are appreciated locally…
But Kevin Acklin, president of business operations for the Penguins, said the team is “recognizing our role here as a steward” of the property and its legacy.
