Solar updraft towers have had proof of concept for quite a while now, and so have solar panels. Should work.
What really annoys me is that there aren’t lots of those up and working already. Engineers like Schlaich have been pushing for this for almost half a century now. Including ideas how to build them in inexpensive ways. And the original idea goes back even further, there are sketches by da Vinci.

“WILMINGTON, Delaware (Reuters) - A group of Catholic nuns on Tuesday sued the board of Smith & Wesson to try to force the gunmaker to abandon the manufacture, marketing and sales of assault-style rifles that have been used in U.S. mass shootings.
The nuns, in a lawsuit filed in state court in Nevada, allege that Smith & Wesson’s directors and senior management exposed the company to significant liability by intentionally violating federal, state and local laws and failing to respond to lawsuits over mass shootings.“

It also led to the downfall of a long list of politicians, business executives, media personalities and other influential men accused of sexual abuse or harassment — Harvey Weinstein, Bill O’Reilly, Andrew Cuomo, Matt Lauer, and Les Moonves among them. Even critics will grant these outcomes, although that is generally where they stop.
In reality, this only scratches the surface of what #MeToo has accomplished.
