Hmm. I imagine part of the benefit is from getting up frequently and moving a bit, to get more coffee and to urinate. They should study tea drinkers next.

It could also be from stimulant-increased metabolism. Same effect as from those dodgy 80’s “weight loss” pills that were basically uppers.

Edit:

hoagie , submarine sandwich containing Italian meats, cheeses, and other fillings and condiments. The name likely comes from the Philadelphia area where, during World War I, Italian immigrants who worked at the Hog Island shipyard began making sandwiches; they were originally called “hoggies” before the name hoagie took hold.

Note:

Hog Island is now occupied by the Philadelphia International Airport.

Towards the end of my child’s very long high school graduation ceremony yesterday, (class of 2024, one of the most seriously afflicted COVID cohorts) there was a young lad with a fairly clear learning disability who got his diploma. The graduating class cheered him with genuine enthusiasm, longer than and just as loudly as for any of the award winning, or popular graduates. :face_holding_back_tears:

The kids are alright.
