I have decided to split the difference. The wing have been prepped. The laundry is going. And now I am sitting on ma-toots watching TV.

3 coffee’s by 9am. Dropped bicycle off at Bike Shop 11am for tune up, was ready at 2pm, During the interlude purchasing A case of beer then getting half of the order into frig at home. Practicing classical C flute by the lake, shortly. God willing, will make it to bed.

Since I didn’t see this until the end of the day, I’ll put tomorrow’s plans:

  1. Wake up early, realize that it’s a holiday and I finally have time to do all that stuff that I never have time to do! I really should dive in and seize the opportunity! But I also need to catch up on my sleep…
  2. Go back to sleep for 2-4 hours.
  3. Glance at my clipboard and art supplies as I’m drinking my coffee and think about how I really should draw again, how much I used to love it, and I finally have time today! But not until later, after coffee. (To Do: Make a note to myself to later today accept the fact that I will never have gotten around to it.)
  4. Look at my bookshelf, particularly the really interesting-looking book with a bookmark only 32 pages in. Think about how much I used to read, and how much I enjoyed it. Decide that I’m gonna spend some time this afternoon/evening reading! Make a note to myself to later on accept the fact that I never got around to it.
  5. Play some video games.
  6. Spend some time reading and replying to stuff like this online while listening to music from Youtube.
  7. Have an adrenaline surge at the sudden realization that holy crap how did it get this late!? I have to work in the morning! I should have gone to bed hours ago! I really should go to bed now…but I haven’t done everything that I wanted to do this weekend yet.
  8. Watch a weird movie or some anime to calm me down from that adrenaline surge so that I can actually get to sleep.
  9. Go to bed (hopefully before sunrise) telling myself that tomorrow will be different, tomorrow I’ll actually do stuff! After work. If I don’t have to work late because I slept late because I went to bed so late. (To do: make a note to myself to accept that that won’t actually happen.)

Update:

Went to the Meijer gardens.
Caught a channel catfish, which will be dinner tomorrow
Got italian food
Ate and drank at Z’s
Did some Merengue dancing
I missed about 6 tosses at fish
The missus wanted to try just once, and bagged a gar straightaway.

Takeaways: The missus is a straight up gangster for all her 100 pounds.

Update: Prescience was remarkably accurate… it’s 04:30 and time for me to pick the movie or anime for #8.

To be fair, I did try to sketch a bit just to spite my prediction, but it sucked. It was forced, nothing like sketching when you’re not trying to wedge it into an overfull schedule.
