A better Republican party wouldn’t have a convicted felon/traitor running as their candidate for president. But we all have to make compromises under the situation.

See my prior comment. Mark Kelly is a veteran combat aviator*, and astronaut and has a self-made public education background. Moreover he has a major issue which is deeply personal to him, gun control.
I have no idea how good he is at public speaking. I expect Vance will do the usual right wing “flood the zone with shit” responses.
*Vance was enlisted and in a support unit. Basically writing “hearts and minds” propaganda for the Marine Corps.

As long as we are in the ‘picking a VP canditate phase’ I think it is ok to vet contenders. Once one is chosen, then we need to support them wholeheartedly. In the vetting phase, I can not support my own governor. If he is somehow selected, I will fly a polis flag.
