Grohl often downplays his drumming skills. I’m no drummer, but this seems really good for a 16 year old who had only been playing for a couple of years at that point. This is a really fun bit of music history, though. It looks like his personality hasn’t changed much, which is cool.

Yeah, he was kicking ass even at 16. He totally owns his spot in the band in this vid.
