Purely personal reaction:
The fact that it’s Greenpeace makes it hard for me to feel much sympathy. Some of Greenpeace’s direct actions in the past have struck me as being well beyond the “criminal mischief” line and well into giving the entire movement a bad name.
There are plenty of organizations in this space which are as effective – if not more so – and which I do actively support. If Greenpeace shuts down, I won’t miss them.
