So weird to see Contraxia mentioned in so many large-scale media events after all this time! As far as I know this fictional world was created by Bill Mantlo for a 4-issue limited series comic featuring Jack of Hearts (one of Mantlo’s favorite “pet characters” who appeared in almost every book Mantlo wrote for and was revealed to be from Contraxia) way back in 1984! Looks like it’s seen better days now (despite possibly having been destroyed in the comics, I can’t remember), being portrayed in the MCU as a Ravager-dominated world full of gambling joints, pleasure emporiums, and mud. There goes the neighborhood!
