GURPS Combat arena

Step and feint.

Step and Evaluate - Step is to my left rear with a one side facing change (in other words, ending up facing my current position.)

Step to the right, turn to face you, and swing for your left arm (-2) with a partial Deceptive Attack (-2/-1).

Your Evaluate bonus wasnā€™t in play at the time of the feint, so it doesnā€™t help. I donā€™t think you can retreat; the hex away from me looks more than half-covered. Borderline, though.

@discbot roll 3d6 vs 19 for the feint
@discbot roll 3d6 vs 12 to hit

@Wanderfound, I understand:

@discbot color - discbot will respond with a color
@discbot roll d20 - roll a single 20 sided dice
@discbot roll 2d20 - roll two dice
@discbot roll 2d20+5 - roll two dice with a positive modifier
@discbot roll 2d20-5 - roll two dice with a negative modifier
@discbot roll d20 your extra text here - rolls and parrots back your extra text
@discbot hello - discbot will respond with a greeting
@discbot help - shows all discbot commands

Your special color today is #1CDC54

Letā€™s try that againā€¦

@discbot roll 3d6 vs 19 for the feint
@discbot roll 3d6 vs 12 to hit

@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 8 vs 19 for the feint (6,1,1)
@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 15 vs 12 to hit (6,3,6)

Good feint and a miss, making the retreat question moot.

@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 7 vs 12 to h (2,4,1)

Whoops, accidental discbot

Thatā€™s OK, I was trying to get the commands from it earlier. Nice to see what itā€™ll do!

Iā€™ll take a step back and evaluate. (Current eval is +1)

Step right and swing. Centre mass, no mods, hoping for a Critical Hit.

@discbot roll 3d6 to hit vs Staff-16 (6 or less is a critical)

@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 7 to hit vs Staff-16 (6 or less is a critical) (1,1,5)

Wow, close!

Retreating parry (back one hex) ā€¦ Parry 13 (+1 def. grip +1 retreat) = 15

@discbot roll 3d6 vs Parry-15

Hmm. I forgot the ā€œrollā€ part when I posted that, but apparently it doesnā€™t pick it up when you edit the post. Letā€™s try that again ā€¦

@discbot roll 3d6 vs Parry-15

@awfulhorrid the 3d6 dice reads: 7 vs Parry-15 (1,3,3)

Evaluate. (Current eval is +2)

Step and swing for the torso again.

@discbot roll 3d6 vs 16 to hit (6 to crit)

@Wanderfound the 3d6 dice reads: 17 vs 16 to hit (6 to crit) (5,6,6)

Not quite a fumbleā€¦

Lots of close rolls in this one!

Swing attack for the skull (-7) with Evaluation +3 ā€¦ 16 -7 + 3 = 12

@discbot roll 3d6 vs 12 to hit
