Camper-converted double-decker London-style buses were common enough in Australia in the 1970’s that I camped next to more than one of them during my childhood.

I’m not sure of the cost of a new bus engine, but I know something of the market for a fully restored RV on a bus chassis. $500,000 would be the starting point and it would go on up from there. Prevost RV’s can run over a million.
Yeah, til he has to clear the kids’ Lego out of the pipes.

I think RVs will become much more popular once they become self driving.
