Now I have a craving for margaritas.
Sunday is a great day for Margaritas!

Edible books!
Those are made of colored bao dough, from what I could see of the insides. Possibly some extra xanthan gum or tapioca starch to give it that firmness after steaming.
The teapot’s pretty mindblowing, too!

My daughter’s birthday requests: fried steak and a blackberry cake:

Love the Bundt pan workaround. I have misplaced mine. Or maybe it didn’t survive the purging from my last move.
It’s entirely possible my Bundt pan didn’t come with me on the last move too, but I thought I had it. The workaround did result in a cosmetically beautiful cake, but served it’s use. Beans in the can to weigh it down.

Cheers!

While on alcoholic beverages…
Laurie gave me this Plum/Chili sake for my birthday last year.
I am going to serve it over ice.
I love plum wine. Choya is the ever present brand you can find in the US, i did have the fortune of having a home made version that a friend’s mom made and it was really great. A spicy version would be pretty neat
i’ll have to see if i can track one down
My GF was just making mint syrup for juleps. We may get muddled over the weekend.
Congratulations on your forthcoming muddling.
