I had a hunch it was going to be something horrible like this just because it wouldn’t be worth paying $3.5 million to cover up a run-of-the-mill scandal, especially now that he’s out of office. Even “conservative politician revealed as secret homosexual” barely makes headlines these days so long as the other guy is over the age of consent.
