I didn’t watch much of it this year, but I did catch his Disney Night performance, and was really impressed that instead of choosing some standard ballad from a Disney animated movie, he went with Cat Stevens’s Father and Son from Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

That’s smart. I hadn’t even thought about how Disney’s purchase of Marvel opens up a far wider list of songs to choose from. Kid’s got a great voice and is smart as heck.
