Beautiful story. Only down side is that all the other juvenile hawks are going to make fun of this guy because his feathers don’t match.

West Coasters –– San Francisco Peregrine Falcon Cam, nesting on skyscraper, just hatched 4 chicks last week!
Sailed my 20 foot double bowed boat all over the Barnegat Bay in the late 60’s, fond & wistful memories of my youth.
my in-laws are across the lagoon from this nest, and we love going down to visit - have not been able to for the past year, so this cam is a treat
It would be so cool to find a shed feather that had been repaired like this.
