marine life fact from this video that surprised me was learning that coral is considered an animal, and that coral is closely related to jellyfish.
It’s not considered to be an animal, it is an animal. I’m not meaning to be snarky - i just wanted to make it clear that this isn’t something that’s debated or under any doubt. Coral polyps up close look just like little jellyfish, with wavy arms that sting, drag in and then eat plankton.
