Didn’t realize how much I love hearing scientists all hanging around, chit-chatting in their science-ese. Bunch of high school nerds hanging out at the university library discovering new books about topics in which they have some knowledge already, but are discovering new things. Love it!

It seems both. At the very end of the video one of the scientists expresses some surprise that the octopi are acting as scavengers and not just predators.
