I honestly think when they called it a “prop” he thinks that means they think it isn’t a “real” honorary badge, but something bought from a Bud K catalog or some other mall ninja place.
But their use of the word “prop” meant “something used in creating or enhancing a desired effect”. Which could be an American flag, a copy of the constitution, a photo of Abraham Lincoln, etc.
