A Scarlett Johannson Android, you say?
Wasn’t that basically Joaquin Phoenix’s phone in the 2013 film Her?
Pretty much the opposite, really.
No way that prop was supposed to be an iPhone.
Hah, you’re mistaking ‘opposite’ for ‘bizarro.’
I realize this isn’t the part I’m supposed to be critical of, but the face is just wrong. It looks like Scarlett Johansson mixed with Keira Knightley.
If you’re going to make a creepy replica doll that should warn all human ladies to avoid you, at least get it right.
If she gave the go ahead, bravo to scarlett for taking one for the team.
Otherwise, I hope she wins in court.
Totally passable for the real thing.
I thought Scarlett Johansson WAS a robot.
Is this the world’s most expensive f—k doll?
Creepyness aside, this is seriously impressive for a home project.
This is straight out of The Pornographers.
Lost in Translation, or Under the Skin? Yuuuge difference.
Unfortunately, I suspect not.
yeah…i’m not sure it is a good idea to buy a used one!
This was done before. See Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis”. The face may change, but the concept is the same.
Faces are hard, yo. Especially if you’re working from photos and not a life model (or a 3D scan of the subject). I’d’ve said it was close enough, maybe too close if it gets him sued.
