Hot ginger ale in Japanese vending machines

Before I tried real Ginger Beer…Blenheim seemed outrageous. Now…it is like Verners with a warning.

Blenheim is, in fact, one of the best things ever put into a bottle. Makes a fine Dark & Stormy, too.

I once left a bottle of Coke in my car for quite a while in summer. It didn’t explode or anything, but hot Coke is not good. Very not good. I’d venture to call it bad.

But the most important question is: what incongruous western celebrity to market it with?

Which is also a drink featured in that terrible film: Blast from the Past. Although Christopher Walken plays the character that likes to drink it, and being the only decent character in the film, I was inclined to try it. It was O.K but regular still carbonated cold Dr. Pepper is much nicer.

On the otherhand, Dr. Pepper is a great substance in which to marinate (cheap barbeque) steak.
