Once you factor out incumbents in safe Republican districts it becomes clear that getting a Trump endorsement isn’t exactly the prize he makes it out to be. The 2022 midterms turned out to be a pretty big disappointment in Trumpland.

I prefer to label them Regressives - not Conservatives.
The opposite of Progressive - the term they hate so much.
Pretty sure they’d also hate the label, however accurate, which I think is a good reason to keep it going.

I’ve seen them talk about the regressive left, although they don’t seem to be clear what the left is regressing to. The Republicans regressing to some time before 1865 is clear to everyone though, even themselves (although they think that is a good thing).

Same. When I was young and just becoming aware of political divisions, I always thought it was weird that people would openly state they’re trying to maintain status quo (or, in reality, claw it back). It always seemed like standing in a river and trying to keep the water at bay, except the water is human rights and education.

Just insinuate to him that Boebert has been cozying up to Nikki Haley and his support for her should disintegrate like Trump University, Trump Steaks, Trump’s casinos, and most of Trump’s business ventures.

He seems to have updated the boilerplate to include the current GOP talking points, but this appears to be every bit as carefully considered and personal as every other Trump endorsement.
