I remember working props stage left on “La Cage aux folles~”, at the Palace .
Wonderful times on and off stage. The running gag line from cast and crew was “The sexiest legs in the show belonged to the male performers”.

Sad to contemplate a future where this production could be banned …

Still confused how they got the initial jacks and lifts under the ground floor. Amazing engineering, pretty much close to sorcery for my monkey brain.
