Based on the overlap between the “manosphere” (MRAs, PUAs, incels, etc.) and the alt-right, there’s an aspect of learned/emulated abusive behaviour that needs to be explored in this regard.

Interesting talk, thanks for posting it. Helps me think about the differences between far-right movements and liberatory ones. While mainstream politics views them as comparable and it’s sometimes easy to see parallels, the talk reminds me that they are fundamentally different phenomena. Not just because of their political views, but because of their social and technical form.
