How the NYPD recriminalized marijuana after the state decriminalized it

Probably goodwill. I’d hedge my bets on that. They’re like the new RadioShack.

You gotta wonder if you could say (And please note. I am not a lawyer. I don’t pretend to be a lawyer. I have no idea):
In that container is my weed. It is hidden from view. If you make me open that with the knowledge that it is weed in there, then it would be entrapment to deliberately and knowingly make me expose this to public view. If you wish to open the top and look inside in such a way that the contents are concealed from public view than I shall assist you with this.

Also note: this is probably a sure fire way to get shot.

I’m with you, though I’d amend it to “People should be able to smoke weed outside and at home like people smoke cigarettes”.

Call me an authoritarian statist if you like, I’ll bite the bullet on this one.

I think jailing people for any crime of mala prohibita is unjustifiable. These are only crimes because we say so. There is nothing inherently criminal or wrongful to these class of crimes so taking away your freedom rather than fines or imposing community service is unjustifiable in my view.
