I was going to say that my use of instant ramen was probably influenced by Tampopo.

My classic recipe for instant ramen is to boil them, drain most but not all of the water, mix in the seasoning (chicken preferred) and add a slice of American cheese. Mix until it’s a melted together.
Ahhh, grad school dinner.
