The best outcome would be for the Mail to lose with damages of one dollar awarded to Trump, and the paper forced to pay both sides’ legal fees. That way the Mail gets hammered - which they so richly deserve and the Trumps don’t win anything substantial.

Modern-day slavery covers a lot of ground. The middle passage and King Leopold’s Congo and death camps are all modern institutions.
