2020, man.
It’s been many years since I went to Nicaragua, but I have very fond memories. Beautiful country. 150+ mph winds don’t happen in November unless someone opens the gates of hell. (I don’t believe in hell, but 2020 definitely found a door to somewhere hell adjacent)
We’re tied for the record on named storms and we still have an entire November to go.
Edit: Correction, beaten the record for naming, but tied for the number of storms. For some reason Alpha was named but was never a storm. (IANAMeteorologist so I don’t know what’s what with storm naming.)
Historic storm? There’ll be another one next year. Or maybe next month.
Global climate change, y’all
It’s supposed to go back out to sea now, strengthen up again and head for Cuba the Florida.
