It’s a crime against humanity, but I think only because the machine brings the artifice of mashed potatoes to the forefront. Sorry to disappoint, but if you’ve eaten at a fast food place that served mashed potatoes in the last decade or so, you knew what you were getting.
Add cornbread. It ain’t stuffing/dressing if there is no cornbread. I mean REAL cornbread, not that Jiffy box.
Might not be real but Jiffy corn muffins is another Sunday morning treat.
I have a sweet tooth, so I lean that way too.
My friend in Lou-a-vulle, his mom, and grandma all use/d Jiffy cornbread mix.

I’m from Lu-a-vul too. But my grandma, mom were from Arkansas. I make cornbread like they did with cornmeal, baked in a cast iron skillet. Jiffy is OK if that’s all that’s available, but in dressing? Nope, too sweet for that.
