Few realize that Montevideo, Uruguay is the 3rd southern most capital, just north of New Zealand and Australia, which makes this migration of the SUTCM so striking
also complete CGI; doesn’t look like any known taxa, or even a functional body plan

The first time I saw this scene from John Carpenter’s The Thing, I was tripping on LSD in Chicago, with two close friends.
It’s a freaky scene, all right. The scene before it where someone attempts CPR is horrific and freakish!
