this Lemans prototype probably has the lowest profile tires you will find on a racing car, and the sidewall is still way taller than the faux-Mach 5 above. Its driven by bigger brakes to make faster stopping, not because it handles better. F1 cars tires and wheels are limited by rules to limit brake size - guess what, the cars still handle incredibly.
Low profile tires on street cars are FASHION, not performance.
