Doubtless these four are the most extreme examples the state could come up with out of the many books they rejected. But the math textbook publisher who included the following chart plotting racial prejudice against political identification must have known they were playing with fire, even though I’m sure the chart is 100% accurate:
Edit to add: considering that the State won’t disclose which textbook or publisher the above chart came from, it’s entirely possible that they fabricated this as a fake example to get people to back off on criticizing them for censorship. No way to know unless a publisher comes forward and says “yes, that’s from our book.”
