This looks like a @beschizza job, especially around the nostril area.

BTW I should have recognized Bjork, but a video from 1988 counts as “pretty obscure” for me.

The ant colonies by the driveway have started their spring-cleaning.

The naked tree branches are very cool and eerie. Spooky night.

Not trying to one-up you, but typical day in Tijuana, there’s so much desert dust.

I’ve been waiting on the construction of a new apartment for months now, so I can get back to painting in a much cleaner environment so as not to corrupt my paintings. The dust issue is a serious one.

Everything has a layer of yellow here, too.

Speaking of which, one of my parents’ friends has been having severe pain in her wrists for a long time, eventually prompting the doctors to suspect antibiotic resistant bacterial infection, and leading them to actually operate in order to scrape her wrist bones for samples. Turns out, she’d had a cut on her wrist over a year ago, and Valley Fever spores had gotten in. She is on immunosuppressants, but still.

Watching it waft away from the mesquites in the front yard like sheets of rain.

Fair warning, the image below is of a dead raccoon frozen in ice. Not gruesome, just perfectly preserved. It was so surreal to stumble upon. Also noteworthy for being a stark harbinger for later that day when I would dump 60,000 records of critical data without a proper backup.
