It’s a free concert from Friday night celebrating the re opening of Central Station in Detroit. Ford restored it to all it’s glory.
Eminem produced the show with a lot of local talent including Jack White.

If one American city ever musically influenced THE ENTIRE FUCKING PLANET more than Detroit did with Techno I’d like to be explained about it.

I imagine that expensive party was more for rich old suburbanites than the cool hip (not hipsters) folk who live in the neighborhood. More Motown performers would have been a good choice.
