I’d just like to place a small pedantic niggle on record.
Being a proper British public phone kiosk
- it is a kiosk not a booth
- it is a public phone not a payphone
That is all.

There are many being re-purposed as galleries, libraries and coffee shops.
btw they are phone boxes
The phone box in the village where I grew up still has a working payphone in! Most of the ones in the surrounding villages are either mini-libraries or house a defibrillator.
Is the one in the OP a reproduction? It looks in much better condition than any I’ve ever seen. Mind you, where I live now, a lot of the phone boxes look like this:

Also, they’re definitely called ‘phone boxes’, and they are pay phones.
