It somehow amuses me that, yes, as a matter of fact, I have been looking for a good reusable spork.
Why titanium?
Can you carry a titanium spork in your carry-on?
I was recently dumbfounded to learn that you can carry knitting needles through airport security.
I have always liked bamboo sporks. Short, biodegradable, sustainable, disposable, fits in my wallet let alone my travel case. 24 count package for $8.99. In a tight spot you can make toothpicks out of it too.
First I like the small travel bag idea.
I also carry Brunton folding chopsticks and a serrated blade Pickle knife ( has a small fork ).
Yes for the TSA I have to lose the knife, but I think a pair of chopsticks is a must!
Cheers!

Those are some of the nicest folding chopsticks I’ve seen.
Yes, I was thinking that, too.
As for the knitting needles; it’s as though the TSA has no idea what the hell it’s doing. But that couldn’t be true, could it? Maybe all those neo-creationists from Kentucky make the rules and think only good Christians knit.
My titanium spork tastes strange. Makes me think twice before using it.
lightweight, durable, fairly bend-resistant. Mine’s made by snow peak, and is similarly priced. it’s ok, i guess.
Although my use-case is different from Mark’s. I mainly use mine for picnics, camping, and hiking. When I’m hotel surfing like a man in a suitcase, I usually just nick a spoon from the hotel restaurant.
that’s a spiffy looking piece of folding cutlery. what’s the make?
Who makes the travel pouch pictured? Thanks
These seem super nice. http://www.amazon.com/Birchware-100-Piece-Classic-Compostable-Wooden/dp/B004SZVOHQ
Thank God for titanium sporks! My old, heavy sporks have been weighing me down - and when you live a life of danger, a heavy spork could cost your life.
I collect fruit sample knives. But I need a cheap one to pack. I found it on eBay:
The other ones I carry are:

Add me to that list of people who’d like info on that travel pouch!
What I want to know:
What does Mark keep in that Altoids tin?
Never mind the sporks, I want a splade.
Non-magnetic and non-bioreactive perhaps?
