In wild talk, Marjorie Taylor Greene claims Fauci paid China to create Covid, suggests audience should shoot vaccine workers

Dumb question but why is this not being litigated for defamation?

I get that Fauci would likely need to prove damages - or is that even necessary?

My point is : if discourse is no longer an option - hit em where it hurts most - their pocketbooks.

There’s a reply to that comment that I am not allowed to make here.

It’s true her signal-to-noise ratio is vanishingly small, but buried in all the obvious misinformation and fabulist bullshit is that Second Amendment-pandering call to arms and everyone in the audience locks in on the frequency right away.

Well, there is a thing where well-to-do folks (such as MG) will get a PO Box in some other location, and use that as their “address”, rather then where they actually live, in order to fake their location for tax, legal, or scam purposes, or to run for congress in a district they do no live in because nobody where they actually live will vote for them.

The RepugliKKKlan GQ Party fully reflects the selfishness, profiteering, and amoral worldview of the Ferengi from Star Trek.

Every time right-wing whackos hear a new term–gain-of-function research, critical race theory, 5G–they adopt it as a buzzword. and fold it into their narrative. They have no idea what the term really means but that’s fine… It’s better if their audience doesn’t understand it. The term simply becomes the latest stand-in for “everything we’re against” and gets pumped into to their rallies to keep the pot boiling and the brew fresh. “Whatever it is, I’m agin’ it!”

She can’t be arrested or charged while Congress is in session.

  • IANAL
  • That said, ISTR that some accusations are automatically presumed damaging. These include child rape, murder, and a fortiori, mass murder.

That moment that Marjorie Taylor Greene pulls off her mask and it’s Sacha Baron Cohen…

Well the reason is they want to implant the microchips in people with the “vaccine” you see. And people who aren’t compliant sheep, well, they die, so win win.

I think the microchips are to help boost 5g signals? I wasn’t so clear on that part of the plan, something like that.

https://constitution.congress.gov/ says:

They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same;

So attempted murder is a Felony, I should think? Kinda strange, though, that Treason is not covered in Felony. Maybe they just wanted to highlight it?
