What does Jesus look like?
Looks like a Samurai to me.
Dear lord, a butter vagina!
This is a guess, but Iād say that when a person actually does see and report the viewing because they honestly think itās a miracle, itās a combination of two factors:
ā¢ A āmiracleā reinforces the implied correctness of someoneās chosen faith.
ā¢ Seeing that āmiracleā makes a person appear to have deep faith.
For some people, both these things are very important. They take their faith very seriously (they want to be known as a person of āstrong faithā), and they want very much for their religion to be right above all others. In America, weāre dealing with some very negative people who are telling the majority (70%) that theyāre under attack and that they need to worry about their rights being censured. (No way.) Thatās making some people of faith really want a sign - any sign, even one on nachos.
Then there are the snake-oil salesmen, who may have noticed a slight resemblance to a religious figure in an inanimate object, but didnāt treat it as a āmiracleā themselves. They just saw it. Then they find a way to cash in on their viewing, and thatās really horrible thing to do.
Believe me - people love to cash in on religion. Just ask the casino owners of the Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich.
