If yes, then shut up. It’s your loss. Stop acting like the kid that keep changing the rule when they lose.
If no, then stop voting because reality and your backward mindset don’t matter.
They do not. They have no interest in representing the interests of their constituents, they are only interested in ruling their subjects. That is the be-all and end-all of their position. “Do as you are told.”

That concept died long before that. Republicans have mouthed the words “freedom” and “small government” for over 40 years, while at the same time seeking to impose the power of the government on anyone they don’t like. The old saw about conservatism continues to be proven true again and again: there are in groups whom the law must protect, but not bind, and out groups, whom the law must bind, but not protect.
i honestly think that’s part of point. it’s hard to fight things like climate change or, heck, capitalism - when people’s fundamental rights are constantly under attack. they want to keep relitigating settled arguments and law, so nothing can move forward.
Even when they do, those laws don’t really apply to them. No one is checking the private jets flying out taking those women to visit relatives in some location where abortion is still legal. Those laws are for the peons that have to drive their own vehicles 12 hours each way or take the bus like common trash.

The real question isn’t what this guy thinks.
It’s whether or not Ohio’s MAGA-majority legislature will just ignore the results, whether they will ask the courts to invalidate the vote, or whether law enforcement will just ignore it all and continue to arrest people for having abortions.
The question is, will they prevail? The bullshit is already underway.
They want to be rulers. Period.
Well, the Supreme Courts of Ohio and the United States aren’t likely to stop them.
