Cute, but I seriosly doubt any one of them could have taken care of my mouse problem a little while back as my huge black kitty, Satan. He’s good.

I love the NASCAR-style wipeout on the first hurdle.

Not bad, but needs miniature jockeys strapped to their backs.

I had a) 3-4 mice in the house one week in June or b) the same mouse coming back into the house more than once (yes, I’m soft-hearted and I rescue them from the cats when I can). Came out on Sunday morning and found a dead one in one of the compartmentalized food dishes, like a tv dinner; you’ve got your “savory chicken” canned food, your kibble, and your mice. Either that, or it was a hint; "I’d like less of the savory chicken, and more mice, please.

Clearly you don’t know JRTs. They’re like guided missiles.

They are fast. I had a JR -chihuahua mix who could zoom. But he couldn’t keep up with his “brother,” who was a mega-mix but probably had some Italian Greyhound in him.

JRTs were bred to hunt rats IIRC. Big, nasty rats. Mice are OK but rats are the real fun for these guys.

I think you might have confused Wilford with Whiplash. Diabeetus.

And while some cats can take on rats, particularly roof rats (Rattus rattus), which are a smaller variety, a terrier is more capable of taking on a Norwegian rat (Rattus norvegicus), which are the big bastards. Basically, terriers have the predatory instincts of cats, but in a dog body. With about 1,000 times the energy.

One of the JRT I knew was a ratter on a sailing ship. Jackal was the captain’s pet, but he was also a working dog; his favorite toy was a basketball, which he would chase around until it (inevitably) went down the hatch to the crew quarters.
