Silly thing to laugh about, but we should laugh at him anyway.
The thing is, he could have simply not brought up her teleprompter use to begin with. Then he’d been able to bounce back from his Abbey Road goof by saying something like, “well excuse me i’m not using a teleprompter like some politicians!” That’s how someone with a sense of humor would have handled it, but Vance has no sense of humor.

I mean Abbey Road (the album) was the death of the Beatles. But jeez, what a flub. If Biden did this we’d have a month’s worth of media coverage on his mental health but when Vance or Trump does something like this, it’s just another day ending in “y”.
