Speaking of prices, it looks more and more like Peter Thiel paid too high of one to put the shillbilly on the GOP ticket.
What value for the money might look like. Maybe.
That’s definitely what Ted Cruz is worth.
Surprised he didn’t claim they’ve gone up to $14.88.
Does he ever state in any of the accompanying videos how the wondrous trump ‘concepts’ will accomplish lowering egg (for example) prices? tariffs perhaps? (which, as we sensible folks know that’s how you raise prices for the vast majority) making the super-rich better monopolists perhaps?
The VP controls the price of eggs?! And all this time I thought it was supply and demand.
Sure, but with soupçons of both price gouging on the one hand and, I’d guess, farm subsidies on the other. Not that I think they balance each other out.
Your regular reminder that supply and demand is not a law, like a law of physics, or even of the land that you can go to prison or fall a great height for refusing to obey. It’s a description of a system that some people want to operate in some way.
Psst-- I think you mean “not,” not “now”?
You’re right! Of course it is now treated as a law of nature and law of the land!
Edie The Egg Lady is really the only one we should be listening to on the subject.
And cartels and semi-monopolies (which GOP administrations love) and Fed decisions (which – despite Biff’s suggestions to the contrary – are not subject to influence from the executive branch for good reason)…
Hey, JD, I hear you can’t make an omelet without fucking a few couches.
“Just because I lied about it doesn’t mean it’s not true” —JD Vance, likely
Well no wonder he’s confused about inflation. The guy just can’t do math. At the end of the video he looks at the tray of eggs that he’s been holding and says to his kids “I don’t think we’re gonna buy 24 eggs” but he’s actually holding a tray of 30 eggs.
He should probably stick to economic messaging approved by his boss such as, “This is Tic Tac. This is Tic Tac.”
I thought the Republicans were trying to ban Tic Tac
