See, this is why cooing over “deepfakes” is itself the problem. The actual video is meaningless noise, but by getting all flustered about the process, we end up paying attention to the 8th-grade intellectual flailings of some random chan-adjacent ding-dong with a computer as though it were Deeply Important.
Wow, very good.
But if there’s one face that is most appropriate to deepfake into “The Cage”, it is that face which was once swapped with Travolta’s, the face belonging to a certain Nicolas.
