The precise circumstances of what happened to Epstein were unclear, and prison officials declined to discuss the incident.

I have read that his death negates the need to have warrants for evidence gathering at any of his residences or his various financial accounts. No one else has standing of privacy concerns.
I hope that’s true. And I hope he kept meticulous records.
I hope he set up a deadman’s document-release switch. Wishful thinking, probably, but it would be such justice.

After the first incident, I said that I’d be surprised if there wasn’t more than one price on his head.
The cynic in me has a very hard time believing that this wasn’t TPTB ensuring Epstein’s silence.

Suicide watch is mostly designed to prevent hanging, which is far and away the most common suicide method in prisons and hospitals. An observation room might have little more than a mattress on the floor. Any stray bits of fabric could be used as a noose: Some states make sure the inmate sleeps with an extra-thick blanket that can’t be tied or torn into strips. In extreme cases, a prisoner may be undressed and given a paper gown.
Even if a suicidal prisoner does manage to tie something around his neck, he won’t be able to hang himself unless he has somewhere to tie the other end. Rooms are designed without any protrusions from the ceiling, walls, or furniture.

The list of people who wanted Epstein dead was probably a long one indeed. Complicating the situation is the fact that Epstein himself was probably near the top of said list. It’s not like his life was about to take a turn for the better.

That’s true; he had ample reason to ‘take the easy way out.’ It’s the fact that he was supposed to have been on suicide watch that has me thinking he probably had some “help”… whether he actually wanted it, or not.

I dunno, man, he didn’t do this alone. He had people finding girls, grooming them, etc. You can’t set up the sort of things that were being alleged with out others knowing about it. I read one where a 15 year old told a butler what happened. What did the help see? Who were the minions arranging these things?
The whole “Clinton Conspiracy” has been swirling around since the days of Vince Foster. Personally I think it’s just a lot of coincidence. Then when you had the whole Pizza Gate thing it just got really bananers.
I mean from the sound of it, he wasn’t the only one doing these things even if he was the ring leader. They shouldn’t get a pass.

I know. I’m really sick of it. I’m not a fan, but god damn, if people need to come up with elaborate schemes to justify their dislike of her, I’m guessing that they are covering up for their deeply ingrained misogyny.
Let’s hope that it can get proven in a court of law, despite the fact that this bastard is now dead.

So much this. I mean FFS people are still chanting “lock her up” at Trump rallies, and the right is still saying, “but what about Hillary???”. The election was nearly 3 years ago.
Surely, Trump with his limitless resources and never-ending vendetta against her could have had the DoJ drum up some kind of charges at this point if there was anything there. Even if it was for the smallest impropriety.
