The ever-growing tent encampments are the result of policies that would only be continued or made worse by any Republican candidate, including Jenner.

I never directly address this in person, because it’s not usually malicious and I know normies are sensitive here. But it’s tedious if I’m talking to someone about french fries or something, and they mention me being gay as if we were talking about that all along, and then I realise that in their mind we were talking about it, because it’s the only subject they can think about in my presence. It’s OK to just, like, make a note and move past it.

I understand what you’re saying here, but Jenner is the one who chose to make “restricting the rights of transgender people” her very first public policy stance so it’s really difficult to avoid the topic when discussing her campaign.

I’m really not sure what her plan is, but I sure wish that this wasn’t what the current ‘face’ of transgender people is in the media. 
I have been really happy to see a lot more trans and non-binary people showing up on shows like Jessica Jones and Rutherford Falls without comment. They are just people.

She really seems like the kind of person to complain that the blood of all the beggars she ran over ruined the gold on the wheels of her carriage, so I think it might even be possible to focus on her being a wealthy, completely out of touch asshole with no sense of empathy without discussing her gender identity.
