No shit. I hated David Lynch’s version and this sounds like everything I hated about David Lynch’s version would be turned up to 11 and be longer than the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings movies combined.
If this had been made and been successful, Hollywood would have insisted that all science fiction include trippy bullshit.
If this had been made and been unsuccessful, Hollywood would have decided that science fiction doesn’t work and not made the Star Trek movies or Star Wars.
