I’d argue music isn’t. And I’m not referring to that piece, but rather then monthly stream of UK #1 songs by my 12 drunk mates from the pub getting together to sing a cover of a song originally sung by [my 12 drunk mates from the pub getting together to sing a cover of a song originally sung by] X ∞
Bopping back and forth between the UK and US as a kid definitely gave me perspective on crappy American pop music.
