Blaming Salesforce for the shape is silly because they leased the building after it was partially constructed. It may be open to interpretation but the building has been a running joke for some time in SF, mainly because of the monotonous shaft like resemblance and the fact that most new construction and old here in SF is late/modernist, postmodern, art deco etc and usually rectangular with jagged spires. Salesforce tower just looks defiantly out of place.
Windowed… for her pleasure?
Some more than others.
The Salesforce Phallus bothers me much less than the ‘scraper located at One Rincon Hill; that fucker is right next to a highway onramp to the Bay Bridge, and totally looks like it will topple over like a freakin’ Jenga tower during the next 'big one."
O_o
I moved back to NoVA from the Bay Area in 2015. At that time, the Salesforce Tower was just a hole in the ground.
Oh, my! That went up fast!
Seperated at birth?
(This joke shamelessly stolen from @TelstarLogistic on Twitter.)
Yeah, I purposely didn’t mention the hideous design.
Fuck the tip.
are not all fails falic
Indeed. Also, I dont get how the Salesforce tower is so particularly “monstrous”
(Only listen to it at work with ear plugs.)
A freaking classic!
